 Are you already an approved TDCJ volunteer? If not some units will allow you to visit the mentor program up to 4 times while you go through the TDCJ application process.

Note: Ex-offenders that have been paroled or released for over two years are eligible to mentor within TDCJ but first must be approved TDCJ volunteers.

Note: TDCJ Mentor policy requires same gender mentoring (man to man or woman to woman). Some units will allow the spouse to accompany the mentor.
